- ASKFRS: Qualitative Assessment [1] Production of the Model: ASKFRS was produced at the Fire Research Station, Borehamwood. [2] Availability of ASKFRS: The package is available from FRS at at cost of 100 pounds (1989). [3] State of Development and Support: ASKFRS is still being developed and a later version is intended to include ASET-B. Technical support for the package would be obtainable from FRS. [4] Overall Model Type: ASKFRS is not a single model but consists of a collection of calculations for particular fire characteristics. The tendency has been to include expressions which are in "widespread current use" This program is intended to form part of a "broader strategy to develop a General User Friendly Fire Solver (GUFFS) based on all levels of modelling complexity".
