- The test procedure was the same as in the previous two Western States Clay Products Association (WSCPA) tests except for the following points: (1) Chromel-Alumel thermocouples were employed throughout this test assembly, and (2) The thermocouple outputs were assembled using a Doric scanner unit in conjunction with a specially designed interface system that allowed automatic data recording on punched paper tape.
