- Abstract
- A summary is provided of eleven different test programs investigating the performance capabilities of a multiple-orifice nozzle type high pressure (100 bar) mist fire suppression system. The test series were identified as cabin/corridor tests, open space fire tests, closed room fire tests, machinery space development fire tests, large engine room fire tests, electrical switchgear tests, computer room smoke activated fire tests, enclosed space fire suppression tests, and post flashover fire suppression tests. The tests relating to crew quarters and other light hazard occupancies are those reported in the work of Arvindson and Ryderman.
