- Under sponsorship of the Man-Made Fiber Producers Association, fifteen member organizations were visited, to obtain information on their general views on fabric flammability, the test methods used, and the results. Apparel and home furnishing fabrics were covered. The present report is an attempt to consolidate all this information. The information obtained from the members is presented without identification of the soruce, as agreed at the inception of this study. The 'editorial I' is used to clearly identify the writer's opinions.
