- ABSTRACT IN ENGLISH Relating to the draft of the basic document "Fire Safety" mathematical methods shall be developed to cover the whole spectrum of evidence for fire safety measures of buildings beginning with the entry data of fire origin and fire spread up to user's behavior. Accordingly there is the question wether and where such proceedings could be used sensibly in building control and wether they are able to replace or are substitutes to evidence in use. After all mathematical evidence are not new in proceedings of building control. They exist for the areas of stability and heat and sound insulation. Mathematical evidences have as well as an influence on the proceedings of building control as on the state of the design. Besides that the mathematical evidence of necessary fire safety measures can lead to improved results in particular cases. In comparison to an overall solution given by the building codes there is in certain cases the disadvantage of a new evidence for every change of using.
