- Abstract
- Quantitative measurements of the total heat release from eight selected building materials were made during an interlaboratory study of the Potential Heat Test Method. Statistical analysis of the results indicates that a higher degree of variability existed among the nine participating laboratories than would be expected of a single laboratory performing standardized oxygen bomb calorimeter determination of the heat of combustion.
