- Abstract
- Bar code applications, similar to those discussed in Part 1 of this report, are easily integrated into existing computer programs. When computer systems corresponding to the desired application do not already exist, the user has the option of purchasing commercial software or integrated systems (hardware and software), or, developing the required application software in house. Since many bar code applications can be implemented on a PC with relatively simple database applications programs, this approach is recommended when practical.
