- Abstract
- This study concerns the development of information on criteria for occurrence and the time required for flashover during fire buildup in a room. The program was originally formulated as a result of the Fire Research Conference co-sponsored by OCD and DASA in December 1965. As part of a comprehensive study of fire buildup, the first two phases of the program were successfully completed under DASA sponsorship. Phase 1: Full Scale Studies and Real Fire Synthesis (completed). Phase 2: Development of Modeling Techniques (Completed). Phase 3: Parametric Studies at Reduced Scale (Current Effort).
