- Abstract
- This invention pertains to the area of polyolefin compositions, namely self-extinguishing, which are capable of magnetization of compositions which are used in the electronic, electric- and radio-engineering industries for the production of magnetic items. For giving the properties of self-extinction to compositions of polyolefins special additives have been introduced--fireproofing compounds. Most often organic halogen-containing compounds are used as fireproofing compounds. Since the addition of only one halogen-containing compound to the composition of polyolefins is not very effective, synergistic mixtures of them with antimony trioxide are used. For a number of items in the electronic, electric- and radio-engineerings industries self-extinguishing compositions which are capable of magnetization are required.
