- The Committee on Science and Astronautics, to whom was referred the bill (H.R. 11284) to amend the Organic Act of the National Bureau of Standards to authorize a fire research and safety program, to establish a National Commission on Fire Prevention and Control, and for other purposes, having considered the same, report favorably thereon with an amendment and recommend that the bill as amendment do pass.
