- Abstract
- Test results on plastic pipe subjected to outdoor weathering at different climactic sites are presented. Three polyvinyl chloride and three polyethylene (type) materials were studied. The effects on the Mechanical properties, long term strength, and molecular breakdown of the materials were analyzed. Analytical techniques used included DSC and chemiluminescence of exposed surfaces.
