- Abstract
- [ABSTRACT IN ENGLISH] In fire alarm systems incorporating 'central intelligence', sensors decentrally measure physical fire characteristics. This information is transmitted as analogous values unadulaterated to the control and incidating equipment, where it is efficiently analyzed by an intelligent evaluation circuit. Fire alarm systems containing analogous data transmission and central signal processing offer improved detection capability and notably less false alarms than conventional fire alarm systems. In addition, they open a wide range of advantages that will only be possible with central signal processing - options not available to systems with decentralized signal processing. Diagnostical and analytical features alleviate troubleshooting and enable very simple adjustments of system parameters in accordance with customer applications in every system - even subsequently.
