- Abstract
- Whether it is performance-based standards, ISO 17025 accreditation, or the harmonization of standards for international trade, commercial fire testing laboratories and their customers are challenged by the changing marketplace and regulatory climate. This paper summarizes a workshop held recently at NIST to identify where science and technology can better prepare laboratories and their customers to meet these challenges.
