Abstract
[ABSTRACT IN ENGLISH] This lecture shows different ways by taking full advantage of todays microelectronics for the reduction of false alarms and the self-diagnostic of sensors and electronic circuitry. In addition the ways for the most effective storage and processing of data collected during the operation of multisensor fire detectors have been presented. Because false alarms occur only rarely, a large number of field tests has to be done to retrieve a reasonable number of data. Using the communication link to each detector this will lead to a reliable information on false alarm sensitiviteness of the different types of sensors and sensor combinations. The use of expert knowledge will not be limited to solve problem cases, but will lead with the help of artificial intelligence to continuous improvement of immunity against false alarms and reliability of detection. Basis for a sensible combination of sensors is the possibility to calculate sensor signals, check each sensor and adapt each sensor to its own and environmental conditions. Even in rough environmental conditions these multisensor-/multicriteria based fire detectors show reliable and correct response to behavior.
