- Abstract
- Four major classifications of procedures that should be considered when selecting a method for the elimination of the lead paint hazard are analyzed in this report. They are surface repair methods, surface finish methods, cover up methods with unfinished membrane materials, and cover up methods with unfinished membrane materials, and cover up methods with pre-finished rigid materials. The attributes associated with each type of method were considered and analyzed in terms of inaccessibility of the leaded paint and implementation considerations. Recommendations are made for the inuse performance properties of surfaces. (Author)
