- Abstract
- Floor vibration tests to study vertical response were performed using a drop-weight method of excitation on three different structural framing systems at the Kalamazoo, Michigan Operation BREAKTHROUGH Site. The housing units were single family homes, either attached or detached. A bedroom and living room were tested in each unit. Data are given on natural frequencies, damping and relative stiffness for the floors. (Author)
