- Abstract
- The building automation industry is moving away from isolated building control systems toward building automation systems (BAS) integrated with business applications on a shared "IT" network. This open shared architecture allows not only for integration of diverse building control systems, but also for connections to corporate business applications as well as off-site business partners.
