- Abstract
- The toxicity of a number of synthetic materials used as fillings in upholstered furniture was determined using the National Bureau of Standards' test method. The materials tested included fire retarded and non-fire retarded polyurethane foam, combustion modified high resiliency type foams, neoprenes, and resinated and non-resinated polyester fiberfill.
