- The test methods developed by the military and by industry, although highly satisfactory for the intended applications, are inadequate for evaluating the flammability hazards in the space program. Therefore, a series of special test methods was developed to determine the flammability parameters of aerospace materials. Four test methods are discussed in this paper.
