- Abstract
- For many fire engineering and design purposes it is desirable to be able to compute the temperature of a fire in a room. A major application, for instance, is to predict whether flashover can occur in a given room with a given fuel configuraion. This can be viewed as a temperature prediction problem, since flashover is normally considered to occur when the temperature reaches 600 deg C.
