- Abstract
- [ABSTRACT IN ENGLIGH] The protection range of automatic fire detection devices (BMA) produces a damage decrease between 60-90% compared to normal fires in buildings without BMS. The protection range of BMA is primarily an advantage to people in those buildings. Almost 90% of the analysed fires were extinguished by the staff and up to 90% decrease of damage was achieved. This is shown in an analysis of Euroalarm. A request to all fire protectors: more support to the alarm organization for buildings with BMS and a statistic of extinguished small fires, less displacement competition of first-aid extinguishing powers, because every not extinguished starting fire could be a potential big fire.
