- Abstract
- Mr. Birky described the preliminary results of smoke and gas measurements, and their implications, in order to determine the nature of the hazard associated with carpeting and underlays in a fire situation. He stated that the ultimate goal is the development of a laboratory test method that takes into acount the hazard associated with combustion gases and smoke.
