- Abstract
- ONLY ABSTRACT IN ENGLISH The high efficient flame retardants of bis (2, 6, 7-trioxa-1-phosphabicyclo [2, 2, 2]-octane-4-methanol) phosphate of melamine (S₃) are synthesized successfully by the reaction of pentaerythrital with phosphorus oxychloride and melamine. Their structures have been identified by melting points and IR spectra. In addition, the S₃, flame retardants are used to fire-retard-EPR and their flame retardant properties are studied. Limited oxygen index can attain 31. Tensile strength and ultimate elongation are 8- 19 MPa and 650% respectively. The requirements of cable insulating materials are achieved.
