- I have today asked the National Bureau of Standards' Fire Research Advisory Panel - a highly competent scientific group appointed in mid-1971 by the National Academy of Sciences and the National Academy of Engineering - to undertake immediately a comprehensive study of the current state of the art in flame-resistant fabric production for children's sleepwear.
