- Abstract
- A self-evaluation questionnaire is proposed, in this paper, to be a possible method for determining the fire prevention efforts of the airport manager. The airport manager and the flight line crew chief answer rated questions about training and inspection effectiveness, equipment and facility efficiency, and usage of mutual aid programs. The answers are totaled, a compensating average factor is established, and the results of a professional development section (only cimpleted by the airport manager) are totaled for an effort rating. The rating is then compared to a table which establishes the number of questionnaire points needed for either a maximum, medium, or minimum effort fire prevention program.
