- Abstract
- An overview of fire research in China will be presented including fire-related activities in several Ministries and the organization of the new National Fire Science laboratory to be built at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). Recent research at USTC in computer modeling of combustion and fire will be discussed, including work on various models and numerical methods.
