- Abstract
- Experimental data is needed to support the development and verification of compartment fire models, especially models concerned with the early stages of fires. The research described herein constitutes the initial phase of an attempt to obtain the transient temperature and velocity distributions in ceiling jets above small fires (up to 2 KW).
