- Abstract
- The present standard encompasses the aqueous solutions of the BB bio-fire retarding preparation which is a mixture of borax and boric acid with the addition of the sodium pentachlorophenate (or without it) and sets up technical requirements towards them. The preparation is designated to protect the wood from biological destructions under the conditions of the I through V class of application in accordance with GOST 20022.2-74 and from the ignition, as well as for the protection from the biological destruction of timber and half-finished materials, which are processed in wet condition. The solutions of the BB preparation are prepared at the place of their application.
