- Abstract
- Considerable research and testing into the ignition characteristics of upholstered furniture has been conducted over recent years and has enabled an understanding of the fire performance of various combinations of cover and fillings to be developed. Only limited information is available, however, on the rate of heat release from those combinations when they are ignited.
