- House-burning experiments carried out at Aultsville, Ontario, in January and February 1958 by the Division of Building Research,National Research Council, assisted by other organizations, have been generally described by G.W. Shorter in DBR Internal Report No. 150. Smoke measurements were made in the course of these experiments and Part 1 of This report describes the technique used end gives the results. Recordings were made also of the sounds in the Buildings during the burns. These are described in Part 2.
