- Abstract
- Smoke production from polyurethane with various amount of inorganic fire retardant agents has been pursued. Mg(OH)2 in polyurethane shows more production of smoke in connection to the increase of it, eventhough it behaves as a fire retardant. The endothermic agents by their pyrolysis and latent heat are effective as flame retardant at smoll heat flux, but not effective against high energy of radiant heat flux.
