Abstract
This proceedings of the First Symposium on the Use of Computers for Environmental Engineering Related to Buildings contains all of the technical papers and invited addresses presented at the symposium, which was held November 30 - December 2, 1970, at the National Bureau of Standards. The fifty-nine papers deal with the application of the computer to such environmental engineering problems as building heat transfer calculations, heating and cooling load calculations, system simulations, energy usage analyses, computer graphics, air and smoke movement inside buildings, and weather data analyses for load and energy usage calculations.
