- Abstract
- Tests were carried out on a house to determine its deflection characteristics under lateral loads. The house is a two-story building of conventional wood-frame construction. Two series of tests were conducted. The first of these was to determine the stiffness of the house when subjected to a simulation of wind loading. The second was to determine the dynamic response of the house to a single impulse load. The report presents the results of these tests. (Author Modified Abstract)
