Abstract
In this investigation the thermal expansion of concrete at high temperature was measured to estimate thermal stress occured in the reinforced concrete construction on fire. Endell, Dr. Uchida and so on had been previously measued the thermal expansion using the small samples of cement ortar. But in cement mortar the heat conductivity was extremely lowered with increasing temperature and therefore the values which had been gotten as the form of stretch in measuring the temperature at the circumstance of samples had not been sufficiently correct, because the thermal expansion had been different with the rate of heating.
