Abstract
[ABSTRACT IN ENGLISH] International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea 1983 requires the cold resistance test for immersion suits by using human subjects in the cold water and the oil fire test for actual fire-protected lifeboats in the pool on the water surface. But the tests might be dangerous to be done under these severe surroundings, and may cause environmental pollution. Accordingly, the results have to be evaluated in a small number of tests, and must be unreliable.
