- Abstract
- PYROCAP B-136 is a versatile fire supporting agent formulated with a focus on the nature of fire itself rather than the fuel medium, which allows it to function as a fire retardant and extinguishing agent. It has been demonstrated as a general suppressant in most fires, but shows its greatest strength in combatting deep seated fires and hot fires such as those in rubber, coal and heavy crude oil. The product is an aggressive emulsifying agent when used on liquid petroleum products. The combined features of wetting, foam and emulsification provides the use with the flexibility to extinguish Classes A, B, and D fires. The product is produced and marketed by Pyrocap Inc., which is an affiliate of Unified Industries Incorporated of Springfield, Virginia.
