- Abstract
- Research projects at FMRC have been grouped into long-range and short-range research programs. Each project in the short-range program deals with a specific loss control problem where an immediate solution is needed. Projects dealing with fundamentals, techniques, concepts and in-depth analyses are grouped into six broad based program areas: Sprinkler Technology, Flammability and Extinguishability, Non-thermal Damage, Explosion Research, Engineering Risk Analysis and Fundamental Research. An overview of the research activities at FMRC and the newly established coordination procedure will be presented in this seminar.
