- Abstract in English Some examples are cited to illustrate the fact that measurements of the rate of burning of textiles and of double-layer fabrics made therefrom carried out with an apparatus recording the propagation of the flame, enable to detect and to record uniform, accelerating and decelerating burning rates. A number of fabrics (and laminates made therefrom) consisting of native and synthetic fibers (including cellulose fibers with a flame retardant finish) and having different weights are compared with respect to their burning characteristics and fire hazards.
