Abstract
Rates of production/depletion of major chemical species (O2, CO, CO2, H2O, total hydrocarbons) are measured directly in intermediate-scale pool fires (Up to 62kW) using a new experimental technique. The rate of heat release is inferred from the chemical rate data.
