- Abstract
- The past two decades have seen significant advances in our ability to measure the size and morphology of soot particles by optical means. An overview of the major measurement techniques will be presented with emphasis on how concepts about soot have changed and how all of these methods are leasing to the ultimate quantification of soot in flames.
