- Abstract
- Volume 2 consists of five appendices covering the details of the survey. Appendix A includes five group interviews conducted with civic and community leaders in Avoca, Carbondale, Hazleton, Scranton, and Tremont, PA. Appendix B comprises 31 questions asked of residents concerning their attitudes toward trash dumping and mine fires. Appendix C consists of tabulations regarding area resident interviews. Appendix D covers tabulations on solid waste interviews. Appendix E describes the use of the Chi-Square statistical test for the omission of Olypant data.
