- Abstract
- An integrated operational amplifier circuit capable of averaging the readings of two transducers and subtracting the averagedvalue from the reading of another transducer is described. This circuit can be used to obtain a continuous plot of the central deflection of a beam with reference to any other point. The system is applicable where a continuous plot of either instantaneous load - deflection or temperature - deflection readings for a symmetrically loaded simple beam is reuired. The system can also be modified to record the deflection of any other point on a beam surface with reference to some other point for any other type of support or loading conditions.
