- Abstract
- This paper is considered a source document for the human factors portion of a final Construction Industry Institute Project Organization Task Force publication to follow sometime in 1990. It reports what the Task Force found about the people side of how to make projects successful. The information which serves as the foundation for this document comes from the literature research conducted by J.R. Hopper of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, together with the consolidated experiences of most of the members of the subcommittee which was assigned to write the source documents. Of additional and important help have been suggestions given by over fifth participants to seminars presented in Houston, Texas and Alhambra, California where the major points of this and other Task Force papers were presented for critique.
