- Abstract
- The following general objectives were specified for this study: [a] Compute the radial inrush wind (vs) associated with a mass fire as a function of time and various fuel bed parameters; [b] Investigate the sensitivity of vw to variations in certain of the fuel bed parameters; and, [c] Conduct an analytical study of the case in which fire spread is accelerated by wind and/or flame interaction until coalescence.
