- Abstract
- Two fire tests were performed to determine if an intumescent paint coating would provide an additional 15 minutes of fire endurance for a cold formed steel stud over that of a bare stud, and if an intumescent paint coating could provide 45 minutes of fire endurance for a wood joist.
