- Abstract
- The smoldering and the flaming combustion of selected polymeric materials and conventional building products in the NBS Smoke Density Chamber and in a 34.3-m(3) experimental smoke room were studies. The materials were examined in both instances in a similar manner with regard to experimental conditions of heat flux, air-dilution rates, and other testing procedures.
