- Abstract
- As it is known for the specialists dealing with fire protection, the fire resistance limit of building structures are defined under laboratory conditions, in special testing equipment - i.e. furnaces - on the basis of internationally regulated fire stress. The tests were not suitable some decades ago to the static system of supporting structures as the testing appliances were not appropriate for the modelling of the different supporting conditions - e.g. clamping -, and beyond that some laboratories still do not suit completely these efforts either.
