Abstract
[ABSTRACT IN ENGLISH] Fire safety tests conforming with various international regulations show that sheets made from glass fiber reinforced polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) have a large safety margin. This semifinished material thus meets the most important requirements for use in areas where the pertinent safety standards are high. This article explains the respective test criteria and test methods used for aviation, electrical engineering, automobiles, and construction.
