- Though entitled "Advances in Fire Safety in China", this paper will largely concern itself with a number of research projects that have been carried out in China and serve as an illustration of the work of fire safety in China. Along with the vigorous development of our national economy, China's fire service is making progress with each passing day. It has won the serious attention and support of our Government and the research workers have been doing their best to ensure the successes of the fire service research work in various ways.
