- Many FPA members have responsibility for both fire and security protection it was from these that we received the request to introduce a new series of data sheets on security precautions. As our members know, the FPA has for some time been obliged to become involved in security matters because of the growning incidence of arson as a starting point for fire. To complement the security data sheets the following article is the first in an occasional series on security subjects.
